The Leofoto LS-223CX LS Ranger Series Carbon Fiber Tripod is a mini-sized tripod that can be used for tabletop production or low to the ground. It can be used with compact cameras webcams action cameras video cameras mirrorless cameras and even compact DSLRs. This tripod features a convertible mounting stud which can change to either 1/4th or 3/8th and there is a 1/4th accessory mounting socket on the bottom of the fixed apex/platform. (Apex/platform diameter is around 45mm/1.77in)Leofoto tripods features 10x carbon fiber tubes that make the tripod lightweight while maintaining a strong load capacity. The 6061 aluminum parts are CNC machined and hard anodized making the surface tough against scratching and scuffing. The twist leg lock system is quickly deployed with a simple quarter turn. With the tripod’s three variable leg angles it allows you to splay the legs completely out so the support can drop to a very low minimum height.
