First, the cylinder latch was not polished like the rest of the gun; but, more importantly, the gun functioned very poorly — when firing double-action it failed to fire at least 50 percent of the time due to light primer strikes. And since I shoot only double-action, the gun was useless. It was sent to Colt to correct the problem several weeks ago but I have received no information from Colt regarding its status. Very disappointing when a brand-new gun fails to the extent this one did.
