The left side shows the Texas Rangers badge with the dates 1823 and 2023. Near full coverage scrollwork engraving encompasses the rest of the receiver cover flats on both sides. A buttplate finished in nickel plating caps off a genuine American walnut buttstock engraved with a historical example of the Texas Rangers wagon wheel badge. The badges have changed in size shape material and design over 200 years and today each badge is made from a Mexican five-peso silver coin.
